I also wondered why anyone cares what the pope thinks about methods of protection in the gay community. He approves of condom use but not of the people who use them, let alone the activity they use them for.

Was the pope punk'd?
When I heard on the radio this morning that a pill has been developed that can potentially prevent HIV, I immediately wondered what the pope, who only Saturday agreed that condom use was permissible as a method of preventing spread of the disease between homosexuals, thought when he heard the news. If only he had held out one more day...

Republicans
Republicans should really do a better job of targeting their mailings. Once I realized this was not an advertisement for Bass Pro Shop (entering one of those stores is the closest contact I have ever had to hunting), the advertisement served only to infuriate me. They are holding up a dead deer. Seriously.

Unfinished Business
As I imported the posts from my last blog, I noticed that I never blogged the rest of our January vacation. I would go back and re-create it for posterity but I can't really remember much about the day-to-day of that trip. I do remember one thing:
